In the world, nanomaterials were used for various application in human life. The nano materias is a key for future various technology. Advanced Functional Materials Laboratory or AFM laboratory is one of former laboratory in Institut Teknologi Bandung that has research focus on using nanomaterials and its modification for enviroment, energy, and health applications.

In this lab, we are using nanomaterials for sensing application in enviromental and health. For energy application, we are focused on utilization of unique Indonesia plants as dye in dye sensitized solar cell. In national. AFM laboratory collaborated with several national institutions like BPPT and LIPI. In International, AFM laboratory collaborated with National Institute for Materials Science (NIMs) Japan, Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) Korea, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Saudi Arabia.

AFM laboraty is located in Institut Teknologi Bandung, Ganesha 10, Coblong, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. AFM laboratory is under of Physical Engineering, Industrial Technology Faculty.
